The Most Dangerous Way in Which Gender Dysphoria Affects Your Life!

Gender Dysphoria affects everyone differently. Some people experience mild symptoms.

While many others experience severe symptoms which interfere with their daily lives.

Regardless of the severity, Gender Dysphoria is a medical condition you cannot outrun.

And the longer you have been living with it, the longer you may have convinced yourself that you can continue to cope! After all. You have been doing it up to this point.

It’s a dangerous game we play with ourselves. Leading to detachment and not realizing just how harmful living with Gender Dysphoria is!

Make no mistake about it. Not only is living with Gender Dysphoria harmful, but it can be lethal.

Here is the most dangerous way in which Gender Dysphoria affects your life!

GENDER DYSPHORIA OCCUPIES THE MAJORITY OF YOUR MENTAL FUNCTION

  • When you are struggling with symptoms of Gender Dysphoria, your brain struggles to combat the dissonance between your biological sex and your desired gender.

  • As a result of the ongoing inner struggle, your mind devotes a tremendous amount of energy to solving what it perceives as a problem.

  • Creating a buzzing white noise that never goes away. Always operating in the background.

  • Causing you stress, feelings of depression, anxiety, and even hopelessness.

  • This buzzing noise occupies the majority of your mental function. And some of the things it is responsible for are:

    • Decreased productivity at work

    • Inability to focus and concentrate on tasks in front of you

    • Depressed mood and affect

    • The struggle to be present and connect to your loved ones

    • Difficulty falling asleep

    • Loss of sexual desire

    • Fluctuations in appetite

    • Lack of interest in pleasurable activities

    • Detachment from your body leads to a dissociative state of mind

    • Ailments in your health

  • Does any of these sound familiar? And these are just some of the most common symptoms stemming from the mental struggle your brain engages in.

  • But one of the biggest dangers of this so called “mental space occupancy,” is an internal shift you make from living to existing.

  • The difference? When you live your life you are able to be present. Savor the moment and emotionally feel your experiences.

  • As a result, you are more present in your daily life and around your loved ones.

  • Leading to increased emotional attunement which further improves your interpersonal relationships.

  • When you are existing, you become analogous to a robot. Operating in survival mode, making it one day at a time.

  • As a result, you are not present in your life and around your loved ones as you appear to be withdrawn and detached.

  • Leading to decreased quality of interpersonal relationships as you struggle to connect to others.

  • And while there are glimpses of life; meeting the love of your life, the birth of a child, and personal accomplishments, the majority of the time is spent on autopilot.

The amount of space and energy Gender Dysphoria occupies in your mind is not healthy!

Your mind, while an incredible machine, was not designed to devote 24/7 of your daily life to focus on a singular problem.

The continuous back and forth experienced as a result of the dissonance and incongruence between biological sex and your desired gender puts tremendous strain on your psyche.

And it can, and for some people does, break their minds.

That’s why it is so important to talk to someone about your Gender Dysphoria. Even if you are not ready or think, you will never be ready to undergo transition.

Just talking to someone eases up the pressure your mind is experiencing.

While it will not make Gender Dysphoria go away, it will help you manage it better and hopefully lead you to be able to live your life versus just existing in it.
