DR Z PHD Interviews Ashley Adamson.
Dr. Z interviews Ashley Adamson, writer, speaker, and incredible motivational content creator.
Ashley is a trans woman (she/her) who is super into personal growth. She talks about being trans from a personal growth lens—that's really the philosophy she approaches being trans with. She really wants to help other people work through this because being trans could be really difficult, and she feels like the inner work is sometimes the missing key that people forget about to unlock their potential.
She's historically been an entrepreneur with a few businesses in the past. Currently a product designer who's worked in tech for the last six years. Her transition about three and a half years ago was a huge spiritual awakening and has set her on this path to creating, writing this book, having a meditation series, talking about finding oneself, knowing oneself, and stepping into the unknown and having the courage to become who you're meant to be.
Her book "Trans Kung Fu: Awakening Self-Acceptance" focuses on inner work vs external transition content (how to do nails, change voice, pass). Kung fu = effort/endeavor + time spent—what transition is about.
Watch for insights on inner transformation, self-acceptance, and personal growth.
