Partners of Trans Series Part 2 | Coming Out Phase
Dr. Z discusses the coming out phase for partners of trans-identified individuals (Part 2 in a seven-part series).
This is for those who are partners (however you define your relationship) in relationship with a trans-identified person. If you're a trans partner yourself, she really encourages you to watch this as well because this is going to be really helpful for you to understand what your partners are actually going through.
This is the first stage in five stages she's outlined that most likely pattern-wise consistently she has witnessed partners go through. The first stage is called coming out stage.
She's going to share with you three particular types of patterns. There's obviously more than three, but these are the most consistent ones she sees partners fall into in terms of experiencing when their partners come out to them.
If you're a partner watching this, you will recognize immediately that you most likely fall into one of these three patterns. If there's a different pattern you fall into, feel free to comment and share that pattern below.
Watch to find out the three most common patterns partners experience during coming out phase.
