When You Realize It's More Than Just Crossdressing!

Dr. Z addresses people who engaged in crossdressing behavior thinking it was all about only crossdressing—not feminizing or masculinizing to get in touch with authentic gender while knowing they have dysphoria—but who suddenly realize that oh, it's probably more than that.

Not everybody who crossdresses ends up struggling with gender dysphoria, identifying as transgender, or going through gender transition. Lots and lots of people crossdress primarily for two reasons: sexual pleasure (it's a sexual behavior, sexually enticing, nothing wrong with it except society has made it taboo), or it evolved from sexual pleasure into just a sense of calm, tranquility, and peacefulness.

Crossdressing behavior falls into three groups: people who crossdress for the rest of their life with nothing more to it (comfortable with gender assigned at birth, zero dysphoria); people who develop gender dysphoria as a byproduct of constantly questioning themselves after crossdressing due to shame and guilt, never letting their gender assigned at birth solidify; and people who already have gender dysphoria and transgender identity formations but aren't aware because it's so deeply nested and repressed within them.

Watch to understand why your egg cracks when it needs to crack and why repression happens for valid reasons.
