Nonbinary! You Want to Avoid Making This Mistake!
Dr. Z shares the number one mistake she tends to see nonbinary identified people make. She especially wants to share this today because she wants you to safeguard yourself from making this drastic, big, life-changing mistake.
This is for nonbinary individuals—whether you identify as nonbinary feminine or nonbinary masculine, not necessarily strictly falling into any one of the binary categories.
One of the biggest challenges you face today as nonbinary identified is that currently, unfortunately in our society, we don't really have a way to categorize or an identifier for what nonbinary identity really is. We tend to cluster people in categories—currently there are two categories: male or female. Dr. Z understands there's a whole spectrum of gender diversity, but society hasn't fully caught up to that.
When people encounter you outside in the real world, they automatically scan you down, look for particular markers, and depending on the category you fall in, they either identify you as male or female. That's why it's so incredibly difficult especially for nonbinary individuals—they don't feel like they belong to one binary or another.
Watch to find out the number one mistake and why you shouldn't make it.
